Who Do You Think You Are? Book on Oprah.com!
March 11, 2010
Last week was an exciting week for me with the launch of my new book, "Who Do You Think You Are?: The Essential Guide to Tracing Your Family History," and the premier of the primetime "Who Do You Think You Are?" TV show on NBC.
One of the most exciting happenings was having an excerpt from the book shared on Oprah.com. Click here to get a peek at the excerpt. How's that for cool??
I also want to mention that I really enjoyed interacting with everyone on Facebook and Twitter after last week’s first episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" My new Facebook "fan" page in particular received a burst of activity as lots of fellow genealogists discussed and rated the show. Make sure you visit this Friday during Emmitt Smith's episode, leave a comment and weigh in by grading the episode on my poll!
P.S. If you happen to be one of those who’s already snagged and read the book, please consider leaving a comment on Amazon.com or Oprah.com!
Please forward this newsletter to your family and friends who are interested in genealogy -- thank you!
Wishing you an abundance of genealogical serendipity!
Note: You are receiving this because you have demonstrated an interest (e.g., you have a story in one of my books, applied for a grant, attended previous events, etc.) or subscribed via my website, but please let me know if you do not want to receive any further emails, and I will promptly remove you from my list. And rest assured, this is my personal list and not shared with anyone else! Thanks, Megan
